Unpublishable Press

There are presently no open calls for submissions.

We at Unpublishable Press believe in the ability of the thousands of unknown writers who have received little or no success. We believe that the best writing collects the most rejection letters. With this in mind, we seek only work that has been rejected by multiple other venues; work that is eye-catching and original; work that should not be abandoned. We seek to use modern print-on-demand services along with a robust online literary catalogue to allow our contributors the widest possible audience. In addition to publishing online, we seek to publish authors in broadside, chapbook, trade paperback and magazine formats.

Currently, Unpublishable Press is seeking submissions across all genres for its Fall 2016 DIGITAL LAUNCH and VOLUME ONE of its print run.

All pieces must be previously unpublished in any form.

Drama submissions must be unpublished and must not have had either a major production or a production in New York City. (A major production is defined as a production in a theatre with more than 99-seats; or, a production with a budget of more than $20,000; or, a production with a non-showcase Actor's Equity Contract. Please e-mail with any questions or to query before submission.)
